This must get close to one of the most mundane threads ever on here, but you know what at week #6 of the UK lockdown I guess we're all taking a closer look at a a lot of 'the littler things' in life.
I'm often astounded about some of the 'stuff' that you guys know about/buy etc. So let me know your views on 'the very best', 'must haves' etc etc.
I'm expecting something really cool and stylish/innovative that I didn't know anything about before.....a bit like Secrid wallets
I'll put an immediate vote in for Glerups slippers. Felted wool, comfy pretty much all year, with or without socks. I like the rubber soled one, it took me about 3.5 years to wear out my first pair, so they're pretty durable as well.

Here's another vote for Glerups, from another Dave E.
My office is in the outbuilding and I have been suffering with cold feet, bought some Ugg boots for winter house wear. Very warm.

Haflinger in leather
Celtic and Co sheepskin bootee slippers. Comfy as. I wear them all year. I am on my second pair, first pair lasted about 10 years, not bad at all consideirng how much they got worn.

I have Birkenstock felt clogs style for winter and a pair of their sandals for summer.
Birkenstock Boston's for winter and Havaianas flip-flops for summer.
Mahabi Slippers for me
Shoegarden have a good selection. My wife and her mother are a huge fan of the Halfinger ones with cats on.
I've got two basic pairs from Mark's and Spencer and keep a pair up and downstairs (I've nearly killed myself with them a few times so won't wear slippers on stairs now). They're cheap and get too loose. Not quality at all.
North Face mule slippers are great but do get very warm, even quite sweaty and I prefer an open heel now so I can kick them on/off as I don't wear slippers while laying on the sofa.
Ive tried the lot and settled on these bad boys. Tough as old boots and as comfy as anything:

Just worn out some Westmorland Hugo Shepherd Sheepskin mules, now trying the Gumbies Outback slippers with a pair of flipflops for summer! quite heavy as made from recycled bottles.

It’s almost never cold enough for me to need slippers which is probably why my M&S moccasins have lasted me about 1O years so far and they hardly look worn.

I've a pair of Orthopants. Like some other brands mentioned they're a wool felt construction and very comfortable. Had them over 3 years now, so looking a bit tired and will be treating myself to another pair soon.

Winter I wear Timberland deck shoes, summer Birkenstock’s.
I have an office in an outbuilding so want something that has a harder wearing sole as I goes in and out.
I wear them for hard floors rather than cold.
Slippers are for wimps.

Some of the stuff on show makes me wonder if you live in nursing homes.
I have Alpaca slippers after Mrs B raved about them when I got her some a few years ago.
We have also converted both my mum and the mother in law.
You look like Rod Hulls bloody emu padding around in them, and they certainly can’t be worn outside but they are fantastically warm and don’t get stinky.
