Really liked the rivet bracelet which came with the Everest but the slight misalignment in the clasp was starting to bug, so have switched to this Spanish handmade leather from Geckota.

    Everest bracelet comes undone

The clasp on my Everest bracelet comes undone very easily too, is there anyway to tighten it?

    Without a tension ring.
Given the fact that I have done the job myself without any experience whatsoever , I wanted to keep it simple for my first try.
It is fantastic indeed. Completely changed my feeling about this watch.
I liked it before but couldnt unseen the milky ring to the point I considered to sell it.
Now I love it, its beautiful !

Well thats excellent work! Well done.
Certainly will give the watch a closer feel to the original W10.

I have the first gen PRS-25 36mm and I hear the rotor quite clearly... whirrr... it's annoying if that kind of thing bothers you.

I wish we could move to an ETA or SW200 or something. I even prefer SII NH35's ...

The only time I noticed it was after a very vigorous arm movement, for example a golf swing. Even then it didn't really bother me.

Definitely very noticeable at first for me, as this was my first miyota. But after a while, I find I stopped noticing it, so you get used to it.

Thanks all fo the feedback on the rotor noise. I's not a deal breaker but I hate the idea of having a watch that someone else can hear me wear....Lol

This combination looks really good.Did you have to bend or modify the end links at all? I would love to see this combination from other angles to see how well the uncle seiko bracelet fits the everest case and also what the clasp looks like undone. I have achieved a similar look on my Everest Expedition using a jubilee style bracelet from Amazon UK;however i had to bend/widen the endlinks and it was not a breeze to fit, also my bracelet is taper to 18mm clasp but i would prefer a taper to 16mm clasp like the Uncle Seiko specification.

I'm afraid that it is one of those 'haven't a clue where it came from' straps, but it does work quite well. It has 'Made in Germany' embossed on the back, and some German text saying that it is suitable for allergy sufferers.

Haha - no worries, Ill do some digging and see if I can finish something similar. It really suits the vintage vibe of the watch.

Since straps stole the show for the time being anyway, may I ask what that one is?

Speaking of straps, I regularly swap this lot around depending on mood.

The AM Fits in well with the older generation of the Smiths family. I think it nails the vintage vibe closer than the Expedition.

It looks great in your pic but now that I checked at Gecko, I think I know why it's never been a consideration for me -- it tapers to 14mm at the buckle, and in the case of 18mm straps I don't like them to taper at all.
