Remove bezel of watch case if easy as enamel solvents will soften glass gasket and usually make rubber seals brittle.
Once bezel carefully and safely removed, Iso prop alcohol or acetone solvent will soften the enamel paint.
I posted up here ages ago an older Breitling Aerospace (or Rep Minutes) that I had black enamel painted the numerals and minute markers around the bezel. I loved it, personally as broke up the very grey case/bezel/face combo.
I’ve a new Avenger SeaWolf and am considering the same...
Either numbers only, or numbers and first few quarter minute markers.
Any thoughts?
Any idea how to remove enamel paint if I biff the job or don’t like results?
