Deepest sympathy to you and your family circle, very sad times.

My father died from at heart attack aged 39, I was 5 years old and my mum who was 37 raised five of us aged 3 - 15 all on her own. She was my hero. I’m now 48 and growing up without a Dad is very hard.

Count me in for a ticket please, and if lucky enough to win I will treasure the watch.

If all tickets have gone, please count me in for a donation regardless.

Thanks again for all your kind words and also kindness regarding taking part in the raffle and or offers of donations. That is greatly appreciated.

Also struck by the number of those who have also lost siblings / parents at a very young age.

My brother was my only brother and I am now like my Dad the last surviving brother. In his case he is the last of 3 brothers and is 80 in June so this is even more sobering a thought.

I'd like to give everyone who wants a ticket and a chance to win the watch that opportunity and also mention that what they then choose to do with it is entirely their choice.

Over 40 people have kindly said they'd like a ticket i wasn't expecting this many or so quickly. So am a little taken aback.

I wanted it to run until next Sunday to give everyone a chance and have the draw then.
