Space X to launch crewed mission.

Pretty amazing really, Space X could become the first private firm to send NASA astronauts into space. Musk is a bit of a strange one but he seems to get things done!

Hope the payload calculations have correctly accounted for the size of those astronauts’ gonads!

Hats off to them. Very impressed being the first.

To be fair, the safety regime planning that’s gone into this, SpaceX being a private company, is probably a lot more rigorous than the old Wild West days of space flight.

I agree with you on both points.

I hope the don’t do a software update when it’s up there and shorten it’s range.

I’m sure NASA making sure controls are very stringent

And not having a dig with this but actually quite interesting, his previous manned mission is still going strong

Target liftoff is 21:32 BST (16:32 EDT), love watching the Spacex launches but this one will have me on edge a bit given the human payload.

Must be massive pressure on Elon to finally have astronauts sat on top of his rocket.
Everything crossed for a successful mission.

SpaceX is doing very exciting things right now with their rapid iteration testing of Starship prototypes down in Boca Chica FL.

Fingers crossed this all goes smoothly and we see some human Falcon Heavy or Starship launches to deep space in the next few years.
