    In general, yay.
That one in particular - Yay!
That one in that particular photo - YAY!

Curiously, almost all colour in my watches is blue, and I have several blue dials.

Generally no above a certain price range but my tastes are quite bland. Can appreciate but wouldn't buy personally.

I love colour in watches, in fact all my watches are the colour black.

There's generally not much colour in my collection with a couple of exceptions:

I definitely like a bit of colour, plain black dial watches can get a bit boring.

    Cheers,

    I have:
    Planet Ocean 2500 - orange
    16610LV- green
    116610lv - green
    Seiko Pogue - yellow
    GO 70s - blue
    Sinn 356ii - copper
Speedmaster TinTin - red & white
    Zenith El Tipo - Bronze

So it’s a ‘yes’ from me. In fact the watch I have had the longest is an Accurist Chronograph with a bright yellow dial. I have always been swayed by versions of watches with a bit of colour.

I’m all for understated and minimal but recently I’ve found my tastes wandering towards the colourful. Alain Silberstein chronographs have featured heavily in my YouTube searches of late.

I prefer a single mono colour rather than multicoloured to wear, personally

FWIW, I wore this for three weeks solid after I bought it, and didn't tire of it at all (it's in a normal rotation now).

Whilst not my cup of tea, I cannot criticise watch purchase bravery. Congrats and keen to see photos when it arrives!

A good way to bring a bit of colour into my drab existence.

Colourful watches - yay or nay?

Oh, a very definite yes from me - colour is important to me - to the extent that it dictates a minimum number of watches in the box! If I ignore black dial watches for the moment, I currently have:

    4 x blue dials

    1 x blue & silver

    2 x white(ish) dials

    1 x yellow dial

1 x orange dial (no doubt Ken was waiting for this one to appear!)

    1 x brown dial

I don’t like red dials on watches so I put my Skyland on a red strap instead

Same with green dials, so I put my Divex 200 on a green Borealis ISOfrane instead

1 x black dial but with bright orange lumed markers

I really ought to have a grey dial watch as well, I think. I’ve had two in the past - a Certina DS Action Ti and a Breitling Aerospace, but I didn’t like either watch enough to see it as a permanent part of the collection. A grey dial B1 might fit the bill, though...

Certainly the latter in this case. But decisive free- thinkers is not a term that I would use to describe the TZ-UK membership in general:-).

Aren't Barbour jackets and brown Loakes considered avant garde?

post #26 above but I didn’t post an image. Now that is a colourful piece!

Oh most definitely, and that Zenith does it rather nicely. Life isn't black and white.

My kings of colour are the flightmasters.

But there are a few others that brighten my world.
