    Rolex 3130 barrel dimensions?

Does anyone know the OD of the arbor and the ID of the barrel drum for a Rolex 3130?

I'm just doing a little research into the Submariner 114060.

    Any advise would be great.

I don't know the arbor dimensions but a complete Rolex barrel assembly is part number 315 so for a 3130 it would be 3130315.

Ahhh, thanks, but I'm trying to work out a few main spring formulas and if I have those dimensions I think I can calculate the spring length and number of coils.

Ah, you mean inside diameter not the part number, apologies!

Can’t imagine what you’re doing or why you’re doing it!

I know the basics and principles of mainspring design, the theory is well- established and easy to find references to. Strength of the spring has a cubed relationship with thickness, v. useful to know when looking for stronger alternatives or when the original spec isn’t available. I’m more concerned with the spring itself than the diameter of the barrel.

I'm just trying to illustrate how the formulas work and that the numbers match the real world application.

I'm doing a presentation on the Rolex Submariner, both historical and technical. As part of the power storage I thought I'd cover the main spring, barrel and arbor sizes and the formula that determine their sizes.

No problem at all, if you need any other dimensions it’s not an issue. Almost always have a 3130/3135 on the bench.
