Managed to pick up a Christopher ward Bronze trident today in their half price sale, looking forward to my first Bronze watch
Love bronze
Have an anonimo, who where amongst the first to use bronze. Never polished, very deep and even patina.
Then bought a Halios bronze last October, it started of amazingly bright, almost silver or white gold.
Wearing it daily for 6 months has darkened it quite a bit already. A much warmer tone now, although sunlight still makes it shine.

I have had a few bronze watches, but have ended up trading them. With this one being quite a cheap option, I have decided to try and get it to go a bit green! we all different though!
I received mine yesterday, CW delivery seems pretty quick compared to last year when I last year bought a watch from them.
the 43mm bronze is quite a hefty thing.
Yes I am happy with it, at the price you cannot go wrong. Mine has the blue hybrid rubber strap, which is a bit tough at the moment. the case is cool, the dial is fine too, but there is a fair bit of empty space at the top half as the logo is on the left.
It came in their new packaging and new warranty card with all the details - no more handwritten note!
I shall keep it for the time being and use it a bit of a daily one i think.
Always been a fan of bronze watches, and had a few micro brand bronzes before finally trading up to the Tudor BB Bronze a few years ago. Its been one of my favourites ever since. I've left it to naturally patina, and its turning a lovely redy brown, as can be seen in the pics taken today. I like that Tudor use an aluminium bronze, which takes much longer to patina, and seems to be more even across the case.
I have one and I'm looking to buy another bronze watch in the near future.
Guys, some lovely Bronze watches there, be interested to see what they look like in a years time, once they have all took on more of a patina.
I also went for the Tudor Bronze Black Bay made with a good portion of Aluminium within the alloy to slow patination.
I fell for the original version but then had was seduced by the Bucherer Blue version. The new Grey dial is also lovely but I still think it’s comes second to the Blue...well to me in any case but you can’t go wrong with any of the three.

I briefly owned both the grey and original brown dial Tudor BBBronze. Both are gorgeous, but I moved on the grey dial in the end. My original bronze has some nice patination after 2 and one half years.

It's now one week in and the oxidisation process is slowly starting to take hold. It's more noticeable on the sides of the watch now.
I just wish they would do the Tudor bronze slightly smaller to fit my wrist. Cracking watch!
CW Trident Pro 38- patina is coming along nicely.
Seems like a few of use have been picking these up this week. Been wearing it for 4 days in the garden and it is already starting to change, in particular the bezel.
I have been searching online on all the usual places for bronze strap buckles. Not found a great selection so far, does anybody have suggestions for sourcing these?
Not found any. Cw charge £75 for theirs

Here are my three, all natural patina.
I haven't got any at the moment but have been lusting after one - Hopefully will be able to get what I want. The ones that have caught my eye so far are the
Bell & Ross Bellytanker
and the CW limited edition Bronze
Both are quite different watches & ofcourse at different price points. The Bellytanker ofcourse will be my top choice if money was no object.

I love the bronze BB. It’s just a shame they don’t make it in the 41mm size.

Not many bronze watches that are well proportioned and well priced with superb build quality to match so when Baltic released this I was sad to see them quickly go out of stock and had to wait over 6 months for the next batch which I now have had for a few weeks. Uses CuAl8 bronze alloy which is the same alloy compound used by Tudor too in the BBB. It's getting duller and duller week by week but I like this alloy for its slow oxidisation and corrosion resistance compared to the more tin+copper based alloy used by Oris (had eyes on the Big Crown Bronze) as a mate bought that and returned it as it would patina unevenly after just days.
CuAl8 has an even patina process.
I believe the hands are bronze too as photos I have seen of this from last year show patina on the hands. Neat!
think just about everything is right about this one

Forced patina on this one, fancied a nice "bottom of the ocean" patina

Another thumbs up for Steeldive. Punches well above its price and loads of styles to choose from.
Only thing Id say about any bronze watch is look at a bund strap if you get a bit ‘sweaty’ as your wrist may go a bit green.

I had a Ventus brass, amazing watch for the money!
I do have an oris pointer date and also the Yema superman Maubydick. They're both great, bear in mind that depending on your preferences, the bronze on the oris and on the yema are behaving quite differently (cusn8 vs cual8).
The yema doesn't develop much of a patina and will stay quite golden in colour.
The oris will give you a nice and warm brownish tint.
