Haha! Just Google searched "fugly". All I can say is - thanks very much @MrCurta. Lol. Not sure why you felt the need to say that. Oh well. Happy Easter. Just told my neighbour that his new pride and joy BMW is f**k**g ugly

A true classic and a super piece. Looks great on your wrist! I nearly pulled the trigger last week on a 118238 but have decided to save a little more and go for the 228238.

Thanks for the kind comment! The blue in this sunshine is mesmerising! (as im sure the green dial Daytona is too). The green dial Daytona is a beauty and nearly the one I went for but I have always been a submariner lover! I wish you every success in life to get one soon. Take care

Nice watch OP, less so the photo. Any chance of a cleaner image? Timely shot, with the second hand at 12 and the regulation 10:10.

Nice! I wish Rolex did either a sunburst blue or sunburst green dial on a yellow gold daydate 40! I think either of those two watches would be awesome!!!!

I understand opinion - plenty on here. But saying it just shuts on his watch. Pointless and needless tbh

Always wanted a yellow gold Rolex, either a Daytona or a Day-Date. A few of the bosses at work have them, look great to me.

Everyone has their own opinion which is fine. Sometimes in life I believe it is best to keep our opinions to ourselves though, especially on something like this. I wouldn't ever dream of telling someone that their pride and joy, that they have worked so hard for is f**k**g ugly and ghastly. I'm not offended - just doesn't look good on your part that's all. As my mum always said "if you aint got nothing nice to say then don't say anything" haha. Happy Easter Mr Curta

I owned a full yellow gold Sub and it was very Jimmy Saville. Sold it pretty quick.

The white gold day dates on here do look a class apart.

Haha. I do like white gold and I was actually thinking of getting the white gold sub before the yellow gold purchase, but then heard a rumour that Rolex may bring out a blue face, blue bezel stainless steel submariner

Yep got to agree Ken, on the rare occasions I wear mine and the light hits it poking out from under a white shirt cuff it’s a sight to behold.

Try keeping that sort of comment in the BP. An opinion is fine but being unpleasant isn't.

OP, if you could just post a few other pics, that would help us enjoy your new ROLEX.

Standard dial set in the industry for non-working, display (dummy) pieces. I imagine you can show us a different time?
