    Not surprised they closed no.8, otherwise everyone would have left

    My only early memories of branch line trains and stations was the Marks Tey to Sudbury line as my Grandparents lived
    in Bures which straddles the Essex/Suffolk border. Sometimes we would get the bus to Marks Tey and then the train to Bures,
    You go over the Chappel viaduct which is the background picture below and where the museum is.
