That is good to read on the Nicola Faith. It remains a mystery as to what happened and this could help the families come to terms with their loss. I walk past the quay the ship sailed from everyday, all the fishing nets, ropes, etc are still exactly as they were when it left on that faithful day.

Spotted a couple of Apaches over Elephant and Castle today, quite fun to see. Also, is that a registration/callsign of Demon1? That would be pretty badassPXL_20210527_140258320.jpgScreenshot_20210527-150320.jpg
Going 'ugly early' on a night out is how a few guys I know met their wives.
I get the feeling that the callsign generally reflects the role they are performing, eg today a couple of the Hawks out of Leeming were CUTHRT12 and CUTHTE11 while another was, a more usual, PIRATE13. I read the former as 'Cutthroat' and they were doing something out over the North Sea...probably harassing a ship or ships as part of an exercise. I have no idea what DEMON1 might have been up to.
We the U.K. used Ugly call signs in Afghan depending on which of the squadrons were deployed

Three drones, of different mission types IMO, and a couple of survey planes (it must be the clear skies).
It appears this USAF C-17 sure was moving today over London PXL_20210609_134934405.jpgScreenshot_20210609-145037~2.jpg

Into Mildenhall and then on to Cornwall Airport Newquay and Newquay: https://factba.se/biden/calendar
Crappy picture but Marine 1 has just flown over my garden heading in to central London
As the G7 has just broken up, Air Force 2 is currently showing on Flightradar24 mid Atlantic having left the U.K. A C-17 globe master has recently left Prestwick, presumably with Marine 1 in its belly.
Air Force left Cornwall a few hours ago, but doesn’t show up, which figures as I’m sure they don’t want anyone tracking the POTUS.

I cannot find a significant event for 23 June but looking for one turned up the tale of Armin Faber.

A pair of Eurofighters seem to be heading to the Dover Strait at low level: https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=43c793,43c79d
Pretty sure it has nothing to do with immigrants crossing from France.
Something very powerful, fast and probably military just went over J6 M25 (sounded like the Red Arrows to me)...but nothing showing on adsbexchange.
Answered, thanks.

Upate Londoners can spot the Goodyear Blimp today: The famous Goodyear Blimp will be returning to London skies today as it drifts over the capital this afternoon. The famous airship hasn’t been seen over London in nearly a decade...
See also Goodyear Blimp coming to London:
- Goodyear Blimp to fly over London and Kent between 26 - 30 June
- Blimp to provide aerial coverage for BTCC Brands Hatch
I think that it has only arrived today (rather than on Saturday). Who knows how long it will be in the London sky?

If you go through the header photos on that home page you'll see an earlier photo of XE688. In the links to their aircraft you'll find one to Hawker Hunter Trials Platform that shows a later modification and explains some of the intricate flight patterns it's been flying of late.
Does anyone know what is going on here...https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao...,40753b,406666...please?
My guess is that there is a hold an airport and they are stacking, but I haven't seen this before.
Update: I may have guessed something like the right reason as they are now breaking out of the loop:

I am out for a day at the coast and a trio of identical bi-planes has just flown over. Only one had a transponder as it only shows one plane but they were these. Not sure if the are original or a modern remake but they were sloooow making their way up from Saltburn, sounded like they were battling against the wind.

Glass Eels Ltd's plane appears to be filming a Eurofighter off Eastbourne https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=43c494,400bd6
(I believe GE Ltd now rent out their plane whilst they're unable to use it for EU exports)
Apparently they find all sorts of uses for it...see G-EELS.
I can say with a high degree of confidence that this will be Dirk Pitt and Al Giordino on the run from a tyrannical megalomaniac intent on killing them before they stop his nefarious plan to destroy Canada with some Cold War nukes he found in a sunken Russian Sub.
Did you manage to check if any of the pilots was wearing an Orange Doxa?
^^^^ Sadly I didn't have my high powered nickynockyculars with me, so I was unable to espy their wrist wear but they sounded like they could have gone faster if they had put their feet through the floor and pedalled, Flintstone-esqe.

That figures, it came from Bournemouth where the airshow took place at the weekend.

I presume that it is arriving for the Jersey International Air Display 2021.
F-GJFE may well be the Television Relay for the A J Bell Tour of Britain.
I can hear a helicopter on the TV broadcast but it isn't showing up on ADS-B.
