How the hell do you measure a bracelet?

As the title suggests, how big is your bracelet, says the buyer, how the hell do I find that out says me?

Measure it seems the obvious answer, unless I’m missing something.
    Cheers,

If your bracelet fits you, then measure your arm.
Use a piece of string or similar around your wrist and then lay flat and measure that

I think what the OP is asking is, where do you measure from and to?

    1. Is it spring bar to spring bar?

    2. The entire internal circumference including the watch back?

Usually the relevant information is something like this- big enough to fit a wrist measuring x inches and any spare links.
If someone wants the actual length, you need to remove one pin/screw and lay it flat and measure two sides ( like 100x 110 )cm etc
