    Further to the hacking

Further on the hacking scammer from the SC post the other day.

I just logged on to The Rolex Forum only to be met with a blanket permanent ban with no reason given. Ive emailed them but I have no doubt it is related to the scammer who has done chrust knows what on the forum, in my name. No idea how the hell he's got my password but it is unsettling. Just passing on the information and obviously re-setting passwords is a must. No idea how I get back in to that forum to explain.

Presumably the same password that was compromised here?

Could anyone else post a thread on your behalf to explain what has happened inc your eventual unfair ban if you want to carry on using that forum?

If it was a different password to here you really need to check your computer for malware and then change all your passwords.

Do you have the same username over there? Just checked the list of users and your name here isn't listed over there?

EDIT: Found your userid, just says banned and can't really see any posts related to being banned. I suspect that the account has probably been hijacked and maybe a PM exchange in the Wanted section has occured etc... but that's only a guess.

If more than one forum account has been hacked in your name then it could be that your device or pc has been compromised with a virus which logs keystrokes. This is s common way for hackers to get your banking and online passwords. Best chance all of them and do a full deep clean virus scan if poss. Good luck

Thanks all. Same password, yes. New laptop too. Hmmmmm.

I do use that forum. If anyone could send a message it would be brilliant. I emailed to ask but I have had nothing back.

Did you use it on more sites? If so change them all, if you still can and use different passwords for every website from now on.

Do you use a password manager? If you don't then maybe consider doing so.

Agreed. I'd love to meet the scammer. Just saying.
