That was a great review, and I’m really going to have to add a 300m Tuna this year

Nice review that , I enjoyed it , particularly the explanation that size isn’t everything. The comparisons with other watches was quite revealing.

    Nice review
It made me get my tuna out the safe
I think watches your review of the UX and got the U1 out of the safe... (don’t have a UX)
Really well made reviews and you seem to like similar watches to me so I will subscribe.

Very nicely done. I have the 017 myself,
Similar however without the circles around the markers.

I can really say I bought one after all the reviews on here so they really do help.

At that point someone - I don’t remember who, could have been Tony- compared the lugs to a T-Rex (they have really small arms). Likewise the lugs of the tuna are very small and start under the case making it more wearable than the size suggests, as you rightfully point out.

There is also a great article on the movement on watchuseek. This link should work if you scroll down a bit. Not sure all tunas have the same reference.

Adore my '007 - just changed it after nearly three weeks of constant wear!

    Nice review, btw.

I like the look of that , nice review as well.
In some ways it's nicer than the newer Tuna's in terms of aesthetics, but I'm happy with the SBBN031 & 35

Great review on a legendary watch!

Does anyone of the SBBN007 owners know if the parts (gaskets: caseback, crown, bezel, then crystal, clicksprings etc) are interchangeable with 015/017? I read somewhere that 7549 parts are to look for but I am not sure..

And where to gwt the parts?Really thinking of getting one, those circles arround indices are addicted

I would also like to know about Zulu straps and the SBBN007. My Zulus won’t fit between the case and normal fat bars, or the “Skinny Fat” bars either.

Is the only way to place it like an Erica’s, and fit the skinny-fats after?

Asking as my DAL1BP snapped yesterday, lucky the watch didn’t fall!

Good review, thanks for that! I tend to wear smaller watches these days but my SBBN007 is one of the exceptions.

I've worn it on several of Eddie's Natos with the OEM spring bars and had no problems fitting the straps.

I recall a thread about Tuna parts interchangeability on WUS or SCWF a couple years ago. I'll try to dig it up tonight.

When I changed the battery of the watch I ordered a replacement seal for the case back of ebay
They are easy to get hole of ,for the other stuff I'd try https://www.cousinsuk.com

Here's an old thread from SCWF as a starting point: https://www.thewatchsite.com/threads...ainance.14501/

Unfortunately, some of the attached documents have vanished and some of the links no longer work.
