At it again?!...

Another odd one. 1,312 positive feedback but account lists 3 poor quality fakes:

EDIT: And gone!

What we all need to do is report any suspect sellers and hopefully this will keep it safer for genuine buyers, bit like doing the weeding, keep on top of it and hopefully the good will grow through!..
eBay dont make it obvious to report but its in small text on the right side of description/postage payments.
It’s very random. Sometimes fakes and scams do get taken down quickly and then others go untouched.
Gumtree (obviously owned by eBay) are actually quite good these days. There used to be page after page of fakes listed but any dodgy listing now gets taken down reasonably promptly. What is ridiculous is that fraudster/faker accounts don’t get deleted.
Beautiful white gold and stainless steel combination.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/392796675488
That was exactly what I had in mind.
The one who scammed me used the same cut and paste plus pics a few time before he got oiked for the last time.
Beautiful white gold and stainless steel combination.

That's a beauty and the pics are very helpful but he's not mentioned when the battery change was last done

And look who's back!
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rolex-Oys...kAAOSwzMVeuv-O
Just seen him, over 150 items finishing tonight, Grand Seiko, guitars, you name it!
No seller feedback in last 12 months, has to be a hacked semi dormant account. I've no idea how this works, how the hacker gets the money, but assuming it does and every winning bidder pays there's tens of thousands of pounds coming in from tonight alone!

he gets money by accepting direct payment from people who contact him via email and pay via western union or somesuch
how ebay hasn't figured out a way to stop these criminal masterminds from carpetbombing the site with fake listings whose description is nothing more than an image of text defies logic. it seems developing a tool to automatically flag them should be trivial for any competent firm
I put a very low bid on the Grand Seiko, just to see what would happen. I did it on the assumption that if I did win the auction (I didn't), he either wouldn't accept payment or he would and I'd get nothing but would be protected by ebay rules. However, the watch doesn't appear in my 'items I didn't win' list so it and I assume the rest of his listings must have got pulled by ebay late in the game.
If the listings are not pulled, I wonder how many are gullible enough to pay him direct?

Newbie thread comment but this is massively interesting/useful/informative. Thank you.
Obviously when I've been here longer I won't let this kind of polite niceness break out again.
Good to see that all listing mentioned in this thread have been removed by EBay..
I reported every one listed along with hopefully many others on here.
Good work Guys and well spotted..

Looks like he’s been at it again. You can see lots of £12 Rolex listings but if you click on one you’ll find it’s been taken down.
Here is a fake Hanhart. The guy wants $3499 for a $300 Poljot with a fake dial and case back.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hanhart-Mil...2648%7Ciid%3A1
Not in the same league but I’ve noticed and reported quite a few Citizen blue angles chronos
Take a look at these 3 sellers latest offerings.
kole-uk2015 and uncle_pete authenticwatchesuk
There are more of them but just as a for instance this is what they do.
They generally sell the same things a few at a time. Oris Longines Tissot Gucci Movado ect. Their picture's don't normally if ever show the case back's clearly. Normally blurred or serial number cut off but one of them has actually added a picture where you can see the serial number but I would say fake anyway.
Also none ever have a warranty card be it blank or stamped.
I did send a message once asking if the warranty card was available and the reply said it all.
Reply: I chucked it out after it ran out of warranty because it was no longer valid. lol

So here are the same guy's selling yet more fake Hydroconquest. Notice the case rear is out of focus.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Longines-...UAAOSwR6NfM~56
Reported this.
Typical fake - it has both guarantee card and (old style) paper guarantee.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rolex-sub...k/293700471021
That really is horrendous. The seller should be ashamed of themselves pretending that's a real sub.
Too many things wrong with that watch to list

These frauds are getting more and more sophisticated!
Description reads:
The Rolex Submariner watch case has a diameter of 40.0 mm (1.57 in) mm and a thickness of 13.0 mm (0.51 in), and the case and bracelet weigh 155 g (5.5 oz). rolex submariner. Amazing watch, good quality built for everyday wear. Unfortunately I do not have the box and papers as I have missed place them when moving homes looking for someone that will take great care of this watch when they buy it
SHIP TO UK ONLY
THANKS
Total fake from a known fake seller.
Supposed to be a display model but just look at the warranty card lol.
Very badly printed and the Rotor picture is just mad. Read the warranty card 3rd line down where it say Lon gines haha. Can't even get Longines right.
Reported. There seems to be a few more on eBay.
Also selling a IWC Portofino which I would say will be most likely fake.
EDIT: eBay took it down but the user name is barbieandkendall. One to avoid

Yet another fake Hydroconquest.
Wrong color Blue and the box is too yellow.

Well done, it's gone 👍
I reported 3 39mm quartz yesterday, but they're all still there.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174417684338
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363091586894
All have the same tells including the bezel serrations being in the wrong position and the lume dots not being applied properly, especially the grey one.The dial font is also too thick.
Fake Oris Aquis this time.
The booklet holder and other part of the booklets is missing as is the warranty card.
The cushion has the wrong font on the S which is a known common fault on fakes also his description about the screw head being damaged because he wanted to fit a rubber strap but damaged the head is rubbish. It's also a common fault for 1 screw to be fitted the wrong way round so he changed it and made an excuse.
I'v reported it but it probably needs a few more to get it taken down.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Longines-...53.m1438.l2649
There are 2 more fake Hydroconquest Quartz on too but I'm not bothering reporting them anymore as Ebay don't give a sh1te
Dont allow this person to buy any watches from you User ID suzifr-3
Its a long story but i very highly suspect they planned to rip off my watch using the "it never arrived" tactics
Illustrated with SS model.

Another bent Hydroconquest from goldenp_82.
Bezel Serrations 90° out of position, lume pips not applied evenly and thick 'Longines' font.
Also listed as not being water resistant???
Pics are poorer than his normal ones including the case back which are awful.
