    EDIT: Didn't last long thankfully.

Please can we all report this:

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rolex-Sub...s/373231321289

(Always a bit of a clue if they can't read the spelling of the model name from the dial.)

It's frightening because it appears superficially to be a legit seller.

No idea if the Cartier is also fake

    Shyster:

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rolex-Sub...6/133531628335

Complete with typical fake "Full one year warranty" paperwork (not even a card for a supposedly 2016 watch). And obviously not a 16610.

Looks like he has relisted before so this is his account if he does:

Well done David on reporting the above fakes, so many people must get a watch in the post via eBay and have that great feeling of a new watch, only for it to take the wind out of them when they see the fake piece of crap, or even wear it for 3 months believing its real for it to either pack up or fall to bits..

Hate the thought of anyone being ripped off - especially for serious money.

He has now relisted. It was an auction with BIN £7,250. Now just BIN but £8,250. Please report.

    Relisted fake 39mm quartz Hydroconquest.
On the genuine movement the crown stem release arrow is a continuous right angled line.
The fake sellers had stopped showing pics of the movement.
The most obvious tell is still the crown serrations being 90° out of position.

592 /100% feedback. He's taken the (obviously wrong) model reference from the fake guarantee card. I reported yesterday but eBay presumably think it doesn't have the usual faker clues.

Another apparently reliable 100% lots-of-feedback seller. No attempt to copy the details from the fake guarantee card.

What is it about this watch that tells you its a fake?

I ask because I'd have fallen for this if I wasn't hell-bent on only buying stuff off the bay with full papers....

You have commented in the past about: "On the genuine movement the crown stem release arrow is a continuous right-angled line."

Sorry for being a dew drip, but could you explain what that means =)

Its sometimes hard to explain how you spot a fake, could be slightly different fonts, spacing of letters, wrong components etc, but overall its like a sixth sense, you can just see the cheapness just showing though the images..

Compare the watch you bought, which by the way is one of the best Hydroconquests I've seen on Ebay with the one below.
The serrations on yours was on both sides ie at 15 and 45 but the fake ones are at 12 and 6, 90° out position.
The lume pips on the fake one aren't applied as evenly on the fake one and the Longines font on the dial isn't as thin either.
The movement pics show the stem release button.
The correct one in the middle with a continuous arrow, the fake one on the right is broken. It's only a slight difference but it's there
The black one at the bottom is mine.

    Yeah, right!

This one isn't even funny. I reported it a couple of days ago and it's still there with it's tatty fake box and "FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTY" fake guarantee papers.

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rolex-Air...-/124439178921

Typical fraudster nonsense story "I am listing this for my friend who purchased it for her late husband, it’s in outstanding condition and I’m led to believe it’s never been worn however I will list as used just to cover my back."
