Hoping that a buyer doesn't check that the serials match up.
With more time on my hands than i know what to do with,it got me wondering...Why on ebay are there loads of warranty cards for watches like Rolex,Omega etc,etc, all used? is it the hope that someone finds there watch/serial number amongst them all? i dont get it,some of the values are quite high for some cards

I wondered that,but like you say pretty pointless with none matching numbers,just seems weird there are loads of them for sale.I could maybe understand if you could find you watches number in amongst them but you would probably have more chance of the lottery numbers
An unprinted card with a newly written serial, attached to a fake watch gives that fake a bit more legitimacy.

I agree and see that side of it if the card is unprinted ,but a pre-printed one that doesnt match the watch doesnt make sense to me ??
