Casio Smart Watches

Anyone any experience with these?
Think there might be a new one out, F30 maybe?
Just wondering what people make of them, they do look rather large.
I wear the Samsung Activ 2 for work but would like something a bit more rugged.

Thoughts and experiences very much appreciated.

Looks good but looking quickly there it doesn't seem to display text message etc like the Protrek would.

If you mean the protrek Smart - they are actually smart watches using Android wear OS - these seems fairly dumb.

Looking at the spec - they are more exercise trackers like a garmin than a smartwatch.

Sadly they’re so far behind I’m not sure they’ll catch up, I’d kill for a gshock Apple Watch or similar

Thanks for the replies. For some reason tapa talk has stopped notifying me of them.
Was just a thought. I like getting notifications etc to my watch when I'm in work. And was looking for something a bit more rugged than the Samsung.

I think they are aiming for a different market... I liked my Apple Watch 5 (only bought it as it finally had an 'always on display') but couldn't deal with charging it very evening. In the end i stopped wearing and sold it recently.

I'm very excited to try this as it has all the basics I like; step counter, GPS for distance, compass etc, but is also solar powered. If it works as it should I wouldn't have to take it off, even to change the battery.

I thought it comes with notifications (from the site):

Vibration Notification Function
Vibrates simple alerts for time elapsed during training and heart rate zone, as well as smartphone email receipt and other notifications.
