    New hands-on review for SPB149

    Time & Tide published a (bit of a sparse) review of the Seiko SPB149J, with some live pics. Even though the bezel is a tad large, I really like this one and will probably purchase it once available.

    Yes, it’s nice but agree the bezel is too large. I can’t really understand why the designers of some watches can’t see what the rest of us can see. The sbdc053 has a thinner bezel more balanced with the rest of the watch. The Rolex SD43 is a lovely watch but the bezel is oh so slightly too big. So many examples of design these days trying to reinvent the wheel when the Romans and Greeks worked it out thousands of years ago.

    Is the bezel really that large when compared to other watches?
