Thanks Wayne... have to say, this looks like a nice buy!
I just picked up a cheap Seiko in the EJ sale. When you add to basket, an extra 15% is taken off the price, so it ended up around -50% off RRP...

wow!
Tag Heuer Monaco could have been had for, £2,720?!
I treated myself to one for my 60th recently.................should have bloody waited!
(out of stock there now).
I was looking at these Tony.
A little research leads me to think these are ceramic cases, but I’m unsure..
This from Rado website
HYPERCHROME AUTOMATIC
Seriously scratch‑resistant, dangerously desirable
Inspired by vintage Rado timepieces, the sporty-chic HyperChrome family was unveiled in 2012 as Rado's signature all day, every occasion timepiece. With over 70 different models, the HyperChrome family is as versatile as watch lovers’ tastes are diverse. Choose from quartz or automatic movements as well as a remarkable range of colours, sizes, styles and innovative materials.
HyperChrome timepieces in Rado’s signature high-tech ceramic are the jewel in the crown of the collection. The HyperChrome’s monobloc case is not only beautiful, it’s also a technological breakthrough: Crafted from a single sleek piece of injected ceramic, it does away with the stainless steel core that was required for previous ceramic designs. The result? Extreme comfort, extreme durability and extreme beauty.

I've looked at this watch a couple of times and it appears to be a perfect allrounder. They can often be picked up at roughly this price, which is a steal I think. Ben: These earlier Hyperchromes are made of SS and Ceramos I believe. This is what Rado say about Ceramos: " A precise and delicate blend of high-tech ceramic and a metal alloy, Ceramos offers the best of both worlds: The scratch resistance and lightness of high-tech ceramic and the luxurious lustre of metal."
Doesn't look different to SS TBH. EJ states SS case, maybe only middle link is ceramic?
Compare to this one with genuine ceramic case and bracelet https://www.rado.com/en_gb/collectio...atic/R32256012
stuff sold quickly there....
Damn, that Monaco though!!!!!!!!!!
I agree, although I don't think EJ's statement means a lot. Most of Rado's watches are labeled 'SS' by many jewelers, simply because their systems don't accept 'different' materials. Like you I believe that only parts of this particular watch are made of Ceramos, hence 'SS and Ceramos'.
The Monaco had gone before the additional 15 percent deal. That went even before I got my watches last week
