    Self isolation boredom

Decided to take a few watches from the safe today and take a few images as i can't go out taking pics. I wanted to try out the new Nikon D5 camera and Sigma 105mm Macro lens.

This Zenith is the hardest watch i have to photograph, no matter what i do it just doesn't seem very good but this is the best of the zenith images.

Following the Tony “Stylie” I see - dark and moody. Very good.

I liked the Zenith. A bit Roger Mille

Yeah i have kept them dark this time to just show enough dial detail but allowing the background to be kept unobtrusive. Thanks.

The D5 isn't made for this kind of thing, i usually use my D850 but thought i would try the D5 instead. The D5 so far is just getting set up for wildlife stuff and i need to do some micro adjust for a few more lenses to the D5.So far the little i have used it then it seems fine but not until i get onto some wildlife will i use it in anger, no idea when that will be as i was meant to be photographing wildlife in Spain in a few weeks and this looks like it has been cancelled due to the corona Virus.

A great collection of watches. Whilst i am still getting paid and have a lot of internet time I agree, this could get expensive! especially as saving money on not going out!

Great photos. Everywhere I look though, I keep seeing that blue Pelagos. This is clearly a sign.

I am tempted by a two line Pelagos myself. With all that is going on, I have boxed mine and put them all away for the time being.

Another taken but just did a slight edit before posting. Seriously thinking of adding another Grand Seiko to the collection(possibly an SBGH281)

Its the Tonda Metrographe, it came with a brown leather strap but i swapped it out for a blue leather strap to match the blued hands. See link below-
