    BBC Genome

Was arguing with SHMBO about "Taxi" with Danny DeVito, Judd Hirsch et al. I remember it being on late in the evening, she was adamant it was 8 o'clock. After digging on the net for a while I came across this:-

    https://genome.ch.bbc.co.uk/

Low and behold it was shown at various times, we were both correct.

It's well worth a look to see what was showing on TV on specific dates i.e. when you were born etc.

I remember late night Sunday first time I saw it in the late 70s early 80s.

Then by late 80s it was Saturday afternoon.

I used to find Taxi to be one of the most depressing programmes on TV.

Not only for the rather down at heel subject matter but also the horror of it being about the last thing I was allowed to watch before being packed of to bed on a Sunday night to dwell about the upcoming week going to the meat grinder that passed for the local comprehensive school.
