Shouldn't that be in a different thread?
'Against stupidity, the gods themselves struggle in vain' - Schiller.
I hope he pulls through.
I wish him well, as I do anybody who contracts it.
The country needs him, regardless, at this most critical time.
So clever my foot fell off.
Bet he won’t have to wait long for his sick pay....
Surely it should be "Corona virus has Boris"?
Well it didn’t take long for someone to jump on the fact he got a test, reckon he said he didnt need one but the chief medical officer told him to.
Wonder how many people he has shaken hands with in the last 10 days.
Chancellor was with him last night but isn't self- isolating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That wa via telephone - the Queen hasn't seen Boris face-to-face for 2 weeks or so..
I suspect the Queen and Philip will have been in a protective bubble for the last week already...probably sat in a room with hepa filtration and positive pressure. I can’t imagine we’ll see her out and about meeting the public again until a vaccine is found.
Not been on here for a while but with a bit of extra time thought I would today, didn’t take long to remember why
I hadn’t.
I know it’s only a few but I thought with the current situation they might have crawled back under their rocks which is what
I shall now do.
wouldn't be surprising if several have the lurgy, being they're well known do as I say not as I do merchants with an obvious sense of superiority.
Matt Hancock as well now.
Two weeks out of the limelight. Am I just being cynical?

BBC News: Gove to take PM's place at daily briefing
Boris Johnson is continuing to work in No 10 after his diagnosis, although the BBC understands that his Downing Street flat has been "sealed off".
A No 10 spokesman said the PM's meals and work documents would be left outside his door.
It is understood his fiancee Carrie Symonds, who is pregnant, is self-isolating elsewhere, although No 10 has not given any details about where she is.
Other people working in Downing Street are also now self-isolating.
Mr Johnson will not be appearing at this afternoon's daily coronavirus briefing. It is understood that senior Cabinet minister Michael Gove will be taking his place.
Maybe not that long.
Link:
- if you live alone and you have symptoms of coronavirus illness (COVID-19), however mild, stay at home for 7 days from when your symptoms started. (The ending isolation section below has more information)
- if you live with others and you are the first in the household to have symptoms of coronavirus, then you must stay at home for 7 days, but all other household members who remain well must stay at home and not leave the house for 14 days. The 14-day period starts from the day when the first person in the house became ill. See the explanatory diagram
- for anyone else in the household who starts displaying symptoms, they need to stay at home for 7 days from when the symptoms appeared, regardless of what day they are on in the original 14 day isolation period. The ending isolation section below has more information, and see the explanatory diagram
It is impossible to run a government behind closed doors. Hope he and everyone else get better.
If he has a slightly rough time but pulls through fine, it will do his standing with the nation nothing but good - everyone will know for sure that he knows what it's like.
Gove, the most insincere and untrustworthy Minister of all, standing flanked either side by the kind of experts he said the country had had enough of?
The irony is so extreme you couldn't make it up.
So clever my foot fell off.
I think that this just highlights how rampant the virus must be within the population, if and when we get mass screening tests I think we will find out a lot of us have it of have had it.
Cheers..
Jase
Which on a positive note means fatality rate as a % is probably well below 1% in reality.
I recall in the early days of the outbreak footage of Boris going round the hospitals shaking everyone’s hands. Can remember thinking at the time how stupid an image that gave out. Turned out to be right.
I agree, most of my family were unwell in the weeks before Coronavirus fever hit - We can't say it was that for sure, but a number of us certainly had some of the symptoms.
I agree with this too, happy to give Boris and his cronies as much of a kicking as they deserve once this is over, but for now, the important thing is getting the country and the smashed economy back on its feet.

You could say that Boris is leading by example on raising our herd immunity. However he clearly hasn't been washing his hands enough.
I'm more bothered by the news that Matt Hancock now has it too.
No politics on here then.
I hope anyone who gets this terrible virus can recover. Whoever they are.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
