    As worn in WWII.

    Probably original strap too.

    Cheers,
    Neil.

    It’s a 50s watch, so of the time, 32mm.

I agree, those Hamiltons are great watches.

I've gone back to this today after deciding to let the Airborne 80 go (listed on e-bay).

Definitely the right choice, that is stunning, so simple in its design, and all the better for it!

Just popped this on for the evening - birth year watch and one I’d hate to part with.

Now that is a fantastic original of the Timor. Below I have included my new Timor Heritage Field and a couple of friends. The Navigator has parted the collection though and on to someone else to enjoy.

    Forgot about this Laco.

Still in the box with spare strap - I'll have to wear it some time.

    Cheers,
    Neil.

Back today fresh from a full service.

Nice to be reunited with its rarer sibling, which is also not long back from a full service.

My W10 is worn daily ... Collodion wet plate image not 100% successful ... too many gremlins last Saturday ... a work in progress project ... Photo taken by wet plate specialist Tony Lovell using a Sanderson half plate camera fitted with a 19th C Petzval lens.

'Homage' image inspired by the work of Andreas Feininger ... depth of field is tiny thus not possible to render everything 'in focus' ... hence focused on the eye ... it's a 4 second exposure at ISO 3.

Precista 1982 Fatboy fresh from a full service. This phot was taken before it went. The watch contained an aftermarket crystal which a lot do with the original satin brushed torsion ring retained. Olivier has access to genuine CWC crystals so looks and feels much better now.
