I am not sure if this is an issued one but it is an old CCCP and Tritium dialled version
The picture makes it look huge where as in reality it’s tiny, easily the smallest dive watch I have.

Junghans issued Bund like this version of the first style dial than the later ones.

    It’s an AF0210 from af0210strap.com
It’s super soft and comfy for a watch strap based on the precursor to the NATO strap

Thanks - not heard of them. I've just had a look at their web pages - An interesting bit of history which I enjoyed reading and it looks like a nice product. Sadly I can't afford a watch like yours but I think the strap would suit a G10 so I might treat myself!

I think it would be a good match
    They are a great strap
I have three watches on them and it takes some beating to stop me wearing a bog standard NATO.

    This is a nice watch.
In some ways I prefer them to the later Heuer watches
Most you see have really worn bezels but that’s not the case with yours.
You do have a nice collection, I have a bit of envy for your Eterna as well! :-)

That is a beautiful Hamilton and the strap is the same one that will be coming on my Timor Heritage Field watch except that these straps were custom made with Timor forged on the buckle and embossed on the back of the strap.

I posted this in the Friday thread but it seemed apt to put this on a ATP today
Chances are it was being worn by someone 75 years ago today.

That's another nice one! It would be great if it could tell you the history and who was wearing it!

That’s the attraction of military watches / watches with provenance for me. They are a tangible link to the past.
Virtually everything I collect / have an interest in has a history.
    Watches. Jackets, Rifles, Willy’s Jeep.

Great picture! That's a really good hobby/interest to have IMO. I have only recently started being interested in watches as a hobby. The military side is one I find particularly interesting along with the history. Every year I travel either to Normandy, Germany and other Benelux countries to the museums, cemeteries, etc in June to soak up the history. I love it but sadly not this year!

That is a wonderful group there. To bad the Grana wasn't the ultra rare Dirty Dozen model, but they are nice all the same. I am like you about history and all. I have collected stamps, coins, antiques over the years, but I have really fell in love with the field/military watch segment of collecting.

Does wearing a homage to an issued watch count?
