The markings are standard so nothing unusual there. So no obvious link for the KAF GS
I guess the hands have been changed at a service for some reason.
Maybe its a coincidence that the are similar to to the KAF GS??? My OCD research continues...

One of the few military watches that are still relatively affordable. The Moeris is one of the most common ATP watches, but typically the cases have not worn well due to being plated.

The Moeris ATP has a 33mm case dia and my wrist is ~7".

    GG-W-113

My last military watch is a Hamilton GG-W-113 issued to US military and other Government services. Has an ETA movement inside and is one of the later with a front loading case (1981).

Sort of. An homage/reissue of the Czech Air Force 1939 pilot’s watch, but with DLC.

Images are few and far between, but here's a Vostok as worn by Colonel Yuri Romanenko.

Someone mentioned Moeris ATP watches. I sold mine a couple of years ago - with box and paper!

Gas mask and prs29a today for me .
A welcome relief to wind it rather than see a G-shock do it all for me.

I have had this watch years but I have only ever worn it once. I am not really comfortable wearing something associated with the most evil regime the world has ever known.
I think it might get swapped later.

    Sure am.

Feels like the only logical choice.

I understand that alright S, though I look at them as swords into ploughshares. I'd be uncomfortable wearing an issued mil watch from another country's forces as I've never been in the military(Dad's army would think twice about me :)) but the WW2 German stuff I've no problem wearing. If the original wearer wasn't a nazi, and many weren't, then fine, if he was then if he could see me wearing such a watch he'd be spinning in his grave at 25000 rpm.

I'm wearing the one on the left quite a lot these days.

    And this one today.

Nice and small and unobtrusive. You forget you're wearing it.

Thanks S. Most DH's had plated brass cases, so tend to wear badly, Doxa were one of a handful(Mimo, Longines, Zenith) that produced them in steel. It's very nice quality steel too. The case brushing and edges are still very sharp even after nearly 80 years.

There are some real beauties on this thread. :)

Nice watch. I just picked up a lightly used Benrus 50th Anniversary D-Day issue and I am looking forward to that. I like the size of it better than the current Hamilton Khaki mechanicals. It has the same movement, it being the ETA 2801-2, so it should be good runner also.
