I'd say "live and learn", but...
Agree there, I loved the 346 but it had to go as the pamily needed a cull. I miss it but at least it is happy with a new TZ owner. Gratuitous pic on a Micah strap. Memories....

I really should get round to owning one, at least once

Try it. The "half Moon" crown protector seems like a gimmic, but once you get used to it, every other screw in crown would seem like a PITA. Setting the time and putting it back in is done in a few seconds

Enjoyed that, Alun, thank you. Such a perfect watch - I really fancy trying it on rubber.

Some great panerai on here, looking to add a luminor at some point like the 795.

    Panerai love

    Beautiful photos as always!
Gimmick or not the crown protector is not only great to operate but an iconic feature of Panerai’s. Therefore even though I love both lines I’’’m more in the Luminor camp.
    One more picture ’won’’t hurt:

Has anyone tried a Panerai on a NATO strap? I was thinking it may stop the watch moving around so much on wrist as my 233 does.

    The crown guard is perfect.
