    Music while working from home

I'd go bonkers without having music on in the background.

What are you all listening to Radio Paradise for me:-

    Classic FM for me.

I’m currently alternating between LoFi chill out and Classical stations on YouTube and The Crystal Method on Apple Music.

It give me an idea - maybe a thread for sharing our Spotify Playlists?

There's an album Ive been into recently by a small band called Dizzy, album called Baby Teeth. Well worth a listen if you like chilled out indie type music!

Currently listening to a bit of Trance music to wake my brain up following writing a report. A couple of hours back it was Classical music.

The All The Young Dudes part of this forum can help as well! Some gems there (and from there, a Spotify list is easily composed!).

Personally, prefer 60s, 70s music - perhaps some 80s songs as well. And, when possible, live performances. I suppose I'm going back to the days when I was a young lad: Bowie, Small Faces, Humble Pie, Clapton, CCR, Stones etc.

This website is really useful - most of the main UK radio stations in one place! No faffing around, signing in, pop ups etc..

That for me is the best station out there. They never play a bum track, no chat, or adverts.
The station has introduced me to so many class artists... brilliant!

It has mostly been the Foo Fighters today but I usually default to Heart 80s or Magic. I do love a good 80s tune.

I find music a bit distracting at work, personally.

Do the people posting here usually have music at work or are they changing behaviour for working from home?

I don’t have it on all day at work normally but I do put a few songs on every now and then as a pick me up. Don’t find it distracting at all at home though.

I just like to stick a CD on and listen to a complete album.

Trouble with radio is I get a bit antsy if they play a couple of tunes in a row I don't like.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

    Radio 6 Music for me.
Started listening to this station by accident about 6 months ago - pretty eclectic mix of tunes with some great music.
My go to breakfast show on the drive to work & now really enjoying it during the day whilst stuck in my home office.

+1 for radio Paradise, discovered it being played at my local about 18 months ago and been an occasional listener ever since. I generally don't like radio (except R4) but this is excellent, no chat, no ads just good stuff, mellow mix is good for more laid back tunes too. Cheers, John B4

6 Music or Magic Soul. But I’ve now discovered Radio Paradise due to the recommendation on here.
I’ll stick with this for the foreseeable future. Good mix on there

I should have been listening to that in situ in a couple of weeks.

I like 6 Music a lot, but really, there's not much played on there that I don't know. Sometimes it feels like I'm listening to my iTunes on shuffle.

There's a London FM radio station called Resonance FM, and it's very eclectic. No, no - more eclectic than you're thinking! Have a look here -
    https://www.mixcloud.com/Resonance/

Daniel Kitson used to have a regular show, and plays excellent music. Luke Haines (Auteurs, Black Box Recorder, Baader Meinhof) has a show - search their names, and you'll find shows that play lots of interesting, different stuff.
