Oyster bracelet adjustment where there is a flat head screw either side.

I am trying to adjust an oyster style bracelet on an Eterna Kontiki Four Hand & not having much luck. Either side of the link has a flat head screw & if I try to undo with a screwdriver the opposite end of the bar spins around. I have tried putting a screwdriver in either side to stop it just spinning but the thing just wont budge. Am I doing something wrong here.

I started a thread with a similar issue for a double screw end spring bar chronoswiss - I got pointed towards one of these avail from cousins and prices from 4.99 to 80.00

Local AD should be able to help also

Two screwdrivers and another person works. Get them to hold one screwdriver in steady, you hold the case or bracelet down with one hand and turn the screw with the other. Once you have done the initial few turns you will be able to do the rest on your own.

Putting them back in is far easier.

I think you should visit your local AD

Find a heavy watch box with a tight-fitting cushion if possible (I use a Glycine box). Put the watch around the cushion with the bracelet link to be undone uppermost.

You'll still need two screwdrivers, but it makes it much easier to undo.

Oyster bracelet adjustment where there is a flat head screw either side.

The screws could have threadlock so may require a bit of heat to soften it?
