Sort of glad I bailed early (if you can call 10:30 early). But then I also wish I hadn't as I do enjoy talking random b*****ks over a good drink although I doubt my distant A Level in chemistry would have helped with the chemistry "funnies".

Good to see you all again. Until next time.

Sending invitations now...sorry I'm slow, I've been playing with my new axe!

Let me know if I've missed you, not intentional I promise. I'm off to eat dinner....

Good meet tonight guys; very informative. Thanks.

In fact I think they are still blethering as I type; I had to bale out early as the Court Order bans me from using the internet after 10pm.

Another great virtual GTG, I'm really enjoying these. It was a relatively early finish at midnight this time! Good to see you all.

    Yep a good evening.

Remind me, was the final consensus “one drop or two”?

We missed you and Wooster, Berty. Last night’s theme was “unstructured nonsense” .... we’ll aim for a topic for discussion for the next one. Suggestions welcome below.

(At least to start to talk about before the spirit induced merriment commences!)

It was one drop when I left for the night. I assume no ice - that would ruin the experiment?

To the hundreds of forum members - this is open to all! It’s not the bellington club

Kirk forced us to repeat the experiment with two drops.😀

    Ice not a good idea.🤔

The level of spirit induced merriment was inversely proportional to sensible discussion as the evening progressed

Posh whisky bottles were produced by the connoisseurs, I poured a hefty measure of Grants and felt distinctly out-whiskyed.

I may have mentioned some Kahlua cocktails last night ... collected the groceries earlier - so now I have all the necessary ingredients ...

    Hair of the dog.

it is incredibly sweet ... not sure it’s going to be a regular tipple.

A sweet alcoholic drink is the best Hair of the Dog!

I hope you’ve got your provisions in for tomorrow night’s virtual GTG...

The theme of this GTG could be “show us your axe”?

(Perhaps someone else should suggest a theme!)

I understand this is also a term used to describe a guitar....

    Virtual GTG tonight

    Zoom invitations sent via PM.

Sorry if I've forgotten you (happens every week!), just drop me a PM.

This is not a closed group - if you would like to join us you are very welcome to do so. Again, just drop me a PM.

Anyone want to suggest a theme to kick-start the evening?

Tonight's dress code - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
    (clothes optional)

No axe or guitar but I have one of these:

Martyn has suggested a topic: “Pick a watch for a summer holiday - your own or any other”

(It might be a virtual summer holiday!)

    A slight elaboration -

Pick a watch from one you already own
Pick a fantasy watch from any manufacture or collection
Choose between the two to take on your next vacation - virtual or real. But you can only take one watch - choose wisely.

I think we packed up at exactly 1 am.......didn`t realise how tired I was till I walked downstairs. Mrs Walker said I looked and sounded tired when I woke up clambering into bed, I don`t think she was pleased.

In future perhaps we should call last orders in the bar at 23:30?

    Thanks Gents.

Thoroughly enjoyed last night and now makes a lot more sense regarding the Snow White backgrounds and the theme...might have helped if I had seen this thread first, oops!

Oh and as I was late this was what I was wearing before the Apollo 8

I was just reminded that we have a virtual GTG tonight! 8pm on Zoom. I will send an invitation around to the previous attendees later this afternoon.

If you haven’t joined us before, you are very welcome to do so. Just drop me a PM. It would be nice to meet some more TZers.

We need a theme and a dress code....

    Beers are in the fridge....

Taking it easy with the throat lubricant this week, don't want to end up really tired again.
