I’ll be there, not sure about the jim-jams though. I’m not a pyjamas type of guy so it’ll probably be the Levi jeans and Fred Perry polo. The sexy santa suit is packed away in the loft with the christmas decorations and its staying there........best place for it!

The 36mm Explorer relaunch is an interesting one, there are times when I regret selling my 114270 in late 2018 but I was bored with the watch and the money it represented seemed too tempting, double what I paid for it after 9 years ownership.

A Smiths 36mm Everest seems exceedingly good value by comparison!

Question. Do the top and trousers of the jammies have to match?

Apologies for my attendance , I am fitting new wheels to my road bike tonight. Re 36 mm I must be a sucker as I have both an 114270 (2006) and Eddies Prs25 Everest albeit with a white dial. Is the 114270 16 times better? Well not according to my wrist time. Plus Im happy spannering and gardening with the Prs25 , not something I do with my 114270.

    1. GS Snowflake
    2. Can I push the boat out and get a Credor Eichi II?

Sorry to have missed you guys, hopefully next time.

What I realised after I came off is that as I joined late following chatting to Martyn on what’s app, I didn’t ask everyone’s name which means I’ve spoken to 7 or 8 of you and not sure of everyone member name here!

Not quite but maybe I should change it, there’s only so many times the on call phone can ring with its default android racket before it becomes the utterly demoralising stuff of my nightmares, not on call now at least for another 6 weeks I think

    Sounds important; hat duly doffed.

In fact the range of employment of the regular vGTGers leaves me with dropped jaw most sessions. Inventing Kevlar, solving international military conflicts, diplomatic service; we could do with some softeners, maybe a bouncy castle operator or a clown. Get the general level of importance down nearer to my level.

No, but thank you very much for planting that thought into the mind of the dress code executive.

Was it eBay calling to tell you that the watch which you had promised to keep on the forum sold for a whopping £9 profit?

And just like that the rotten troll is back, I did actually message the other party who missed out on the watch and they didn’t want it, not that it’s any of your business but I was offered something very special by another forum member so decided to let some things go to balance the books

I’ll be looking forward to showing it off on the GTG If you’d care to join us? Would only be too happy to say hi, the GTG is a lot of fun, even my daughter enjoys it when she can jump on

As always, making up stories to back up your behaviour.

I cannot see another party who missed out, only you saying: "I’ve agreed with Dave already it’s coming straight back to the forum at this great price for first dibs" (Dave being the seller of the watch), and that was in response to another member suggesting you would sell this outside of the forum for a profit - which you ended up doing.

You surely must be spying on my PM’s also so you’d know I was messaged just after I bought it, actually makes me afraid to post on the forum knowing the likes of yourself are just waiting to try and bully me off the forum anyway
