Sorry chaps, real life in-person work has got in the way. Just travelling back from London now so won’t make it. Still, I won my Seatfrog 1st class upgrade so I’m helping out with the train’s excess alcohol problem.
I could do next week. Or get our resident whisky sipping IT expert to host tonight!

Maybe I would be up for this - given enough notice and depends on the state of flights available (and any suitable places to stay over). It would give an opportunity to offload a few of my select watches as I've been thinking of letting some go. Lots of expenses for house improvements (double glazing, Air-con, PV systems let alone Kitchen / Bathroom refits!) means funds need to be released,

Martyn I think Kirk asked Steve to set something up. Don’t know about you but when someone drops organising a meeting on you , Ive certainly left / omitted many folk, much to my chagrin.It must have been by invitation only
I had not been on for a good while, just logged on Thursday night past 8pm & saw Kirks post & asked if anyone wanted to meet & Zelig replied.
Alec mentioned he had another prior meet.
I was monitoring the vgtg thread for anyone else but no one else came on.
The teams meet got off to a bad start, set up & sent Zelig the details & met up & within minutes my laptop blue screened & died, few mins later back on the call & stayed on :)
The traditional way of unloading watches at a MCGTG is to get shitfaced and leave them in the pub. Occasionally someone will contact you weeks later and tell you that they have sent the £100 for the vintage Omega.
Using my extraordinary powers of ESP I espy a certain Summer apathy which will resolve itself in due course. Our beloved leader being much involved in womens' football will be a bit preoccupied just now.
And add me to the list of upforits for a f2f in Manchester sometime, maybe after the summer.
Apologies Gents, I have been somewhat preoccupied with my football pitch restoration project. Last Thursday I was cutting the grass on the pitch with a battery powered domestic lawnmower….that took a little while! For my sins I’m also a Director of the Sports Club now, with Board meetings on Thursdays (monthly, I think).
But rest assured I still love my virtual friends and have not given up on the vGTGs!
I’m off to a local Sardine Festival 22 - they reckon 100,000 people will visit over 4 evenings. Music and stalls and of course - local sardines! So can’t make any meeting tonight. Next time ?

IIRC when cut off after 45min on a couple of the first vGTGs hosted by Martyn, we just dialled in for a further 45min.
