Another happy birthday for my Grandmother - 107

Just before all this virus stuff kicked off my Grandmother was 107! Here's how the event was celebrated by the East Anglian Daily Times:

The three great great grandchildren are my daughter's three children - one boy and twin girls. She has had an amazing life. I'm proud to be her eldest grandson. I was going to ask her what she thought of recent events but our visit to her over Easter has had to be cancelled for obvious reasons. Hopefully we'll be able to see her again when things have calmed down.

I hope all the TZ community are well and keeping safe. Best wishes to all.

Fantastic achievement congratulations, I really enjoy talking to people who have seen so much in their lives, I bet she is lovely to talk to, and she still looks very sharp.

That is delightful to hear, and what a life she's lived.

    Wonderful. What a life!

My Grandfather was in Egypt during the war and would have only been a few years younger.

I wonder if they ever met!?

Good grief, 107! She doesn't look it either.

She must be one of the very few still alive who survived the 1918 pandemic.

She must be made of prime material.

    Well done to her!
So clever my foot fell off.

Thanks for all the good wishes. I'm going to write to her tomorrow and I'll pass them all on to her. She is being well looked after in her home so hopefully she will see this virus thing out and enjoy a few more years!
