    Are Rolex springbars stamped?

Had a funny one earlier, got my sea dweller (head only) back from WOS and the aftermarket springbars had been removed, and not replaced, it didn't bother me as have more in the cupboard but I thought they might have stuck a couple of rollie ones in for the 700 + service
so was just wondering are their bars actually stamped in some way, because I couldn't see a difference in theirs and cousins?

Unless it's changed recently, nope. Been a while since I've had one serviced but had half a dozen prior and they were unbranded.

I'd absolutely expect them to replace them if they removed them.

I wonder if their's are better than other manufacturers? Or if they are standard?

Never seen Rolex stamped spring bars but as long as you buy good quality and the right diameter anything will do.
    Cheers,

Cousins UK do their own generic Rolex spring bars which I've never had any problem with.

    Not stamped but decent quality.
Bit cheeky on their part but probably an oversight.

The 18k gold spring bars have two reffled tracks near the center, just to identify them as gold. Steel nothing.

Probably don't want steel rubbing gold.

Exactly. 18k yellow and white gold available. None in platinum or Everose, though... gotta pinch pennies somewhere!

I'd never thought about it before now.
Any idea on the price of gold spring bars?

From memory rrp is 64CHF + VAT each. So slightly below 200 fitted thereabouts

The Rolex ones are lovingly hand turned by Swiss Engineers in white coats with serious expressions on their faces.

Genuine ones have a laser etched hologram at one end of the bar.
