Those views alone are worth every penny of the asking price.

Not a massive fan of the interior but seemed like a lot of house and some amazing views.
This is what 500k gets you near me.

Yes, as another Londoner who was recently looking to move house, I had a look what my money would buy me around the country. Comparing two cities, I had the choice between a 3 bed terraced house in Greater London or an 18-bedroom house in Lincoln.
Seafront, 6 bedrooms, 5 receptions, 5 bathrooms.

A colleague recently bought this place, I thought that he did quite well but ask me again in nine months.

Perhaps this, and £300k to spend on hookers and coke.

Oh sorry, I thought you meant under £50m
Although it was built/owned by:
“Dr Taylor is also a leading authority on the work of 18th century marine clockmaker John Harrison and designed the Corpus Chronophage as a tribute to John Harrison.”

It's just a matter of time...
Now you're talking! I've always wanted a house with a turret.
I have actually considered (and I'm not kidding here) having one built on to our house, but the wife isn't keen. I'd have a room at the top with a glass roof for stargazing with a fantastic recliner and a great sound system.
So clever my foot fell off.
Used to be the house of the head man of BP, presumably owned by BP. The place is alleged to be a money pit, hence why no-one has been brave enough to buy it so far. As you say, good views.
The pub in Voe is also for sale. https://www.estateagencyshetland.co....restaurant-bar
And the boat shed next door, although how you are supposed to get a boat through the door I am not sure. https://www.estateagencyshetland.co....oat-shed-store
The village benfits from a shop, bakery, a village hall and a church, although the latter might have shut down.
I would choose this one in Lerwick, which I have been inside, albeit only on the ground floor. https://www.estateagencyshetland.co....uth-ness-house

Quick search and I quite like this - Right in the middle of Exmoor, bit tired but at £435k there is also budget left over to make it a really nice home..
