Read about this this morning too, love it! I have a Fossil LED watch I wore about 20yrs ago that I can’t get the back off to change the battery, hoping it still works.

That is very nice. Probably the only new watch I would consider buying.

I had one as well, very similar to the old '70s LEDs. Mine stopped working even with a new battery, sadly. One of the 7-segment displays started making up its own digits.

Seems to be a link to a thread that was started several hours after this one?

Love it!!! I also had the fossil red led watch many years ago....
Wrong time for buying watches for me unfortunately!! Otherwise I'd be all over it.

I was getting excited until I read they weren't using an authentic full LED display (completely dark until you push the button) .
If all I wanted was to scratch the retro 'look' but without the full authenticity of a full LED display there are lots on Ebay for around £50.
In fact some of them do have the full LED display.
The Fossil version a few years ago also had a full LED display.
This one will of course be far better quality than those Ebay offerings but will still be a novelty nonetheless and I daresay an expensive one to boot.
    I'm out.

Loving this, even the gold version appeals even though I’m fairly certain I couldn’t carry it off.
