On eBay - Watch British army 1970's

Is this some type of replica? I like how it states it is a 1970's watch and the year of manufacture is 2010

OK, I found my own answer. Eaglemoss make cheap replicas.

I had a look at their website and they seem to make replica watches that were sold with a magazine. I'm sure that the watches are utter tat but they seem to have done some research. Do the watches bear any resemblance to the the watches they are purported to be replicas of? This is really just me being curious, I won't be buying anything from them.

No more than a superficial resemblance.

I thought the Weems looked not too bad.

Are you going to buy one?
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

You aren’t helping. I bought that W10 while waiting for the Benson I just bought to come back from a service.

I wouldn’t mind a real Weems, but the nice ones are very expensive.

Hope all is well with you and yours, can’t be easy travelling about at the moment.

Haven’t been anywhere for a couple of weeks so that one has taken care of itself.
