This was a particularly scary post. I'm sure repeated many times elsewhere

In other news silver down 3.5% at $23.48 an ounce. Only a few weeks ago was a smidgen under $30.

Ahhhh, silver. Well you still got three months for the 25%+ rallye you need (and I am sure Ryan sold his holdings the day before the price dropped).

Actually I bought back in a few days ago just before the price dropped 9%

This being The G&D, you may want to delete the photo or blank out the swearing.

100% of net worth in one investment, is any investment so good its worth 100% risk?

Go big or go home YEEHAAAA!

  12. #3412
Bit of a rally today , and Dow futures +200

Seems the city less worried about the lockdown probably because of the 5 month thing

Exactly. The guy can always blow his brains out if it all goes wrong.

Can’t see a flaw in his plan anywhere.

Re Tesla, and his 25k driverless car

That's basically 50% slash in prices, has he thought this through?

He promised the exact same thing in 2018. He didn't care about actually delivering it then and he doesn't now. It's just a soundbite for the idiots.

Swearing in photos isn't indexed by Google, doesn't matter.

I was under the impression that Eddie didn't want swearing in WT or the G&D because this is essentially a family friendly site but maybe I'm wrong. Post a photo of a load of swear words as a test.

    https://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.p...lean-please***

WT referenced but I've always assumed it referred to all sub forums outside of the BP etc.

    This is the craziest yet:

What's the news? SPI Energy Launches New Electric Vehicle Company Subsidiary. Nothing new, no new funding, no new product, they just founded a new company to move their existing EV assets to. And a press release, that is all it takes.

Obviously no shortable stock to be borrowed....

There's another one of those that I did manage to get shares in (around 400k shares that I paid £1.2k for) that could do likewise. I won't mention it here due to financial rules but the market remains mental and based on kneejerk reactions.

For the financial old hands here, when do you think value investing will become the norm again? I.e. a stock's value being based on fundamentals.

0.003 per share? Haha, what is the bid/offer on that?

Value investing will become the norm again when all the loons have gone bankrupt.

Let's just say the spread is massive and market liquidity ain't great! Total punt of course and I'm only 31% down on it thus far.

Trouble is all the money printing is funding the loons and seems it will be some time before the madness stops.

What % drop would you think we need to flush the loons out?

    Reality check, three months later.

Stock has gone nowhere, but company has dumped another 57 million new shares on their shareholders. Seems to be their only source of income as it continues to accrue losses from their "core business". If not outright fraud, then at least not run with the best interest of their shareholders in mind. Avoid at any cost.

    More here and here.

A stock going no where in the last 3 months. How strange. I thought everything was ok out there

Got to be in it to win it as my aunt Lucy used to say.

My problem with the stock is not that it didn't go anywhere.

My problem is that it is a shareholder milking operation to enrich the officers. They constantly pump the stock with borderline press releases about inferred mineral resources and hide the disclaimers that these numbers mean absolutely nothing in the small print. They do lots of transactions with related parties (CEO sits on both sides of these deals).

All of this points to the conclusion that this company exists only for one reason: to sell equity to bagholders. Canada is known to be the Eldorado for stock fraudsters, and this company sits right in the middle.

That you are pumping such garbage says a lot about you.

How do we think the run up to US General Election over the next month is going impact the markets?

Someone mentioned to me earlier that if you’d bought $100 Apple stock at the IPO it would be worth $100k now.

In that time though the share price has dropped by at least 20% on 23 occasions.

You couldn’t make it up really. A week after stating that “almost nobody gets COVID” he gets it.
