    The CWC T20

I know that this excellent new offering from CWC has a thread in WT but I thought that it would be nice to include some posts in BMW's

This is rapidly turning into my favourite CWC.

It might not wear as large as I thought it would due to the cushion case but it still has a lot of wrist presence.

In my view the symmetrical case has a profile that is much more pleasing than the G10 that went into production instead of this design due to the quartz movements that were available at the time. Leaving aside the G10's asymmetry (something that I dislike with any watch) its lugs have always seemed too chunky and sharp to me. The T20's case profile is far smoother and refined to my eyes.

The brushed finish also makes the case look far classier to me - a distinct improvement on the blasted case of the G10.

The only thing that I would change is the WR - which is a low 5ATM.

Properly stamped case back as opposed to laser etched - bonus!

As with most watches it wears very well on a Eulit Perlon

However I think that I prefer it on the O/E NATO

I would only disagree with you on one point. I think it looks better on the Perlon. :) Lovely watch.

How does the original G10 perform in water? Is 5ATM enough for a quick swim?

Surely the G10 case is symmetric Ian (crown protectors aside) ? The likes of my PRS5 Broadarrow is asymmetric.

I'm not at all sure how resistant this level is in practice - I tend to treat it as splash proof. Perhaps I'm being too cautious?

You are of course correct - however the crown guard makes it look asymmetrical to me!

Nice watch, I'm considering the Mellor. What size is your wrist as it looks quite large on you?

    Thanks

That's probably more about distorted perspective - the camera being relatively close to the wrist. Also it wears bigger on a NATO as its not flat to the wrist.

I did think there was an element of distortion but thought I’d ask anyway.

    Thanks

Eddie - one of these as Precista, with screw down crown, sapphire crystal and 100m WR would I think be my ideal watch !!!

I think that 20mm would look cumbersome and overpower the watch. 18mm would be far better on my view.

I have the auto version and it happily wears a 20mm Phoenix NATO, I think it suits the watch far better than the 18mm.
