    Moon Phase watches are probably my favourite in terms of dial design. Does anyone actually buy them for the moon phase feature? I have never really thought too much about their usefulness in the modern age. I'll go and research that now actually.

    It’s been mentioned on other threads - they are useful for keeping track of other 28d cycles....

    You will always get people who will tell you that they can get that information easily on their phone or whatever but that applies to all the features of any watch, time, GMT, alarm etc, it’s always going to be a subjective personal preference but I like to know when its a full moon via my watch but I can fully understand those that may not think it necessary.

    The incredible detail of the moon is one of my favourite features of this model, according to Omega’s website it’s a nod to Neil Armstrong’s footprint, you actually need a loupe to see it.
