Fundraiser Processing Fees??

Just been charged circa 4% processing fee when making a donation - is this new / correct?

I don't remember there being a fee previously?

Hard to see on mobile but the new normal for fundraising websites now is to opt/guilt you into paying the card processing fee so the charity recieves more money.

The fee was the same going via paypal

4% seems quite high. I thought the going rate for a debit card was 2.5% that being said I know PayPal's checkout fees are much, much higher.
