Is it really that bad!.......is it?.

    Watch prices of "stuff" increase..........Why?.

    Coronavirus obviously!.

A few become wealthy, whilst the rest become unhealthy.

But is it really that bad?,look at just a few of the big killers below, there will be many more that could be added to this.

    Utter rubbish.

The rest of that message that's missing from your post is also a complete disaster.

The WHO has said yesterday the death rate from this could be north of 3%.

It'll only be because on the quarantines, public health messages and fear that we avoid an absolute disaster.

This message reads like all the people on Jan the 1st Y2K saying it was a non event, while completely ignoring 2 years of effort to make it so.

My gut feeling is it won't be as bad as we're been led to believe......in terms of deaths as a comparison to other deaths from whatever......but time will only give us the true impact.

My opinion.......you have yours as do & will others.

But the above figures show many many more die from more common ailments.Going by the media,it's mainly the very unhealthy that have succumbed, and also mentioned many will get the virus and never know they've had it.

Remember.......it's a platform to discuss, and not to be nasty.

Have a nice day........and wash your hands people 👏

Let’s be 100% clear about the logical error people are making here, as we’re hearing a lot of this kind of thing. It is not about comparing how many people die of various things. It’s about how infectious something is, and what the fatality rate is (highly, and relatively high). It’s not about how many people have died from this, it’s about how many people could die if we don’t pay attention. Opinions and gut feelings are all very well, but let’s stick with science and sensible precautions until this is dealt with, shall we?

As I understand it, the big worry is of a large number of Covid-19 cases happening at the same time, which would completely overwhelm the health service's ability to cope. Not just with Covid-19 cases, but everything else as well. The strategy to avoid this seems to be to have a small number of concurrent caes ovwe a longer time period, though containment.

I think Phil Collins has sort of done that by having his boy do the drumming bits. The other 2 fellas are OK though.
