    Outdoor Pizzeria re-build

    Chaps,

I know a lot of us are loving the whole pizza thingy and my original thread is still going strong.

Anyway after several years of use my old trusty oven was showing big structural issues so at Christmas I thought I would look at a new lighter weight oven and re configuration of the whole prep area.

I considered brick built, large oak frame but after looking online and doing some work I settled for light weight steel for the main frame. Again reviewing cladding options and wanting to keep it hygienic and maintenance free I have opted for cement based cladding board for the front and probably stainless elsewhere.

Granite was my obvious choice for worktops although trumpy, but I have a friendly supplier who has done me a deal on some stock, I was not fussed about colour.

So, a couple of weeks in and it is slowly coming together........ Of course happy to share any info to anyone considering a similar project this year. The pics..........

    And the build so far.

Cheers chaps. Busy the next couple of weeks and then pressing on, the oven is arriving in 3 weeks it’s en-route from Italy.

Let me get it up and running Andy, then we ought to have an east coast pizza GTG. Trust all is well pal.

    Hi,

I'm very interested to see the progess on this. However, I am really inpressed with your structure/shelter.

Can I please where it came from or was it a customer build? If so, where did you get it from/ have it designed?? I'd really likke something similar for my BBQ/Smoker set up

    Many Thanks

Perfect day for finally cracking in again.

Oven was delivered Thursday and real touch and go if it was leaving Italy.

It’s not in the exact position as I am knocking a 30mm box stainless steel frame for it to sit on.

    Right on with the cladding

    Thanks guys, appreciated.

You are quite right Tony, I cringe when I see prices down south, how the heck do youngsters get started.

Just finished dry fitting of the granite worktops and stainless splash backs this evening. Very pleased.

YES!!!!!! I never thought I would see the day Matt. Lol.

You will have some fantastic fun with it mate, from knocking dough up to the cooking and the smiles on friends and family faces. The nine years you have been talking about it will all makes sense 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Hi Paul,

Really enjoying seeing the progress on your re-build. It all looks amazing, I especially like the cupboards and worktops that you have.

I start digging out my new base on Saturday and then it's decision time on Gazebo build and what to get to go in it. Your choice
of pizza oven has started to sway me towards that and away from the smoker I had planned. I already have a gas grill for speed and convenience, but my family
    love Pizza too!

Good luck with the finishing off

    Nearly there.......

Worktops and splash backs dry fitted last evening, plan for the weekend is electrics, you will see the holes for the sockets and sealing joints.

I am hoping this evening after a run I will have the first fire up.

Are you going to have a Consumer Unit (or something) at the point of entry to the Pizzeria/Gazebo so you can terminate all electrics within with the flip of a switch?

Yes, there was SWA laid to the area from the 3-phase supply in our garage (switched and isolated there) with a CU and IP66 rated outlets which were fitted when we build the shelter six years ago, there is lighting and heating out there also.

I will use Flexi conduit to run the twin and earth in inside the units themselves.

The least impressive photo in your thread, but no turning back now!

Just need to find all the dough recipes I have been saving & work out which to do first over the weekend!

I only have fast action dried yeast but assume that is in the pizza app I downloaded and never used!!

    Excited does not come close.
