You say "Milgas" I say "Milgouse" let's call the whole thing off.
Apart from that, very nice comparison vid with your other two!
have to agree with G-oww-se though I've heard G-orse too.

VG , I don't think I'll be selling one I got a few weeks back , lovely watch.
Mick
I wish you hadn't posted that
I have been thinking about one of these for a long long time and watching the video just makes matters worse. Although I generally prefer Blue dials, for some reason I prefer this model with the Orange at 3, 6 and 9. I have recently culled a few watches and the usual thoughts of an exit watch go through the head.
Luckily none are available at present, which makes things easier. I even checked Haywood's site as he is local to me and he hasn't got one at present - phew!!
Enjoyed that

Good video ...
I wasn’t aware of supposedly different colour crystals on earlier ones either
Where did you get this information And i take it it’s 2007only ? V serial??
Enjoyable vid, thanks bazza
Enjoyed that. Thankyou.
The Milgauss is my first Rolex, which I really fell for when I saw it a couple of years ago. Same version as in the video. I loved the green glass, the lightening bolt seconds hand and all the other good stuff you’ve covered. So that was it. I left the AD that day several thousand pounds lighter but very happy. I wore it on special occasions and enjoyed it.
After about 6 months though, I kind of fell out of love with it! I’ve no idea why really, I just found myself wearing my Tudors and Omegas more.
Then there was a thread on here a few months back extolling the virtues of the Milgauss, so I made a bit more of an effort to wear it. Suffice to say, the love is back! It really is a lovely watch that can happily be worn in lots of different situations. I’ve learnt something today too. I never knew you could pop the easylink with the watch on. So thanks again.

Also have that model and very happy with it. Never thought about activating the lume with a torch myself. Off to try it on my other watches now :)

My only Rolex is a z-blue GV; it's all from their range that has ever really appealed bar, perhaps, the blue sky dweller.
That said, although I like its quirkiness, finish and fit, I think it is flawed. Probably one of the least legible watches I own indoors, hopeless in dimly lit pubs etc unless lume is charged.
Great on a rare sunny day however!

I will tell you when mine arrives ;) I popped into the AD who sold me a 116610LV last week and asked him to source me one, he thinks a couple of months to get one. I have asked for the original black / green combo, when I tried them both at the same time a couple of years ago I was surprised that I preferred the black dial. I think once it arrives I will have enough green in the collection.
A watch that goes under the radar but is a cracking all rounder !

Good review cheers.
What is the general availability of these like or have they also succumbed to the waiting list madness.
Ive not seen one in a AD window for some time but pretty sure if you get on the phone you could hunt one down
There was a couple in Goldsmiths Meadowhall Sheffield recently (in the last 2 months). Not there now though.
having recently gotten a mint one for a decent price recently - I agree there aren't enough videos on these, maybe antimagnetic but definately scratch magnets!
sorry but the 'meal-gas' pronounciation put me off and I could not watch the whole video.... definately consider redoing the audio
I have the black dial GV and previously have the Z-Blue (and before that the black - you know how it goes).
I don’t find any legibility issues with the black dial, but did with the blue. I also never bonded with the blue in the same way as the black - never quite figured out why though
Forgot to say - OP - GREAT video. Really enjoyed that
Mine's a 2009 V serial so I'm not sure where that sits regarding the green tint, but here it is:
Rumours are about again for it to be dropped or updated to one that harks back to the look of the original Milgauss. Low supply is encouraging grey prices to creep too - there's a z-blue local to me, unworn, for £7800.
