Result!
Early in 2005 I was approached by a customer asking if I could get his watch refurbished for him, I contacted Fricker and they agreed to take on the job. The watch was returned in June 2005 and, knowing what was inside the box, I didn't open it, planning to send the watch back to the customer in the same box. I contacted him and told him the cost of the refurbishment and he thought the price excessive, so he said I could pay the bill and keep the watch, which I did.
My wife had moved the box into my old office and I forgot about it until rummaging for something this week and I discovered the box. When I opened it, I was shocked to discover this:
If yho're wondering why the logo on the dial isn't the usual logo, it's because this was a special commission for the King of Jordan who used them as gifts.
