The old saying “a pint of water weighs a pound and a quarter” would point to there being a lot of weight falling on that car!! Of course the fact it all fell almost at once helped a bit.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Just 1 Cubic Metre of water weighs a Metric Ton, think about that next time you see a Surfer getting wiped out by a massive wave

My 200 litre fish tank weighed 200kg without the gravel, rocks and other ornaments. Also worried m as the tank empty weighed quite a bit too.
Imagine doing that with heavy water.
It's definitely time to ban the use of Dihydrogen Monoxide.
