Please help me to set an asking price for my old Cannondale

A year ago (give or take a few months) I showed a Klein mountainbike here and asked for your opinions and suggestions regarding an asking price, selling it here on a Dutch website. Your answers proved to be spot-on! I received what you guys here suggested.

Now, the next bike is on the block. I'm looking for a new one but the bike shop isn't interested in a part/exchange scheme when I buy a new bike (a pre-used 2019 Cannondale CAAD). In fact, the shop owner advised me to sell it myself, but didn't want to name an asking price.

It's an older CAAD with carbon fork, Campagnolo's first edition Veloce gears and Campagnolo Delta brakes. Installed because I like the looks of those brakes!

Just let me know what you think!

Have you still got the original brakes ? I’m pretty sure that you’d get more if you sold the Delta brakes separately... if you can be bothered. Other than that can’t help much on price. Haven’t ever sold a bike and don’t intend to !

those brakes are prob worth more on ebay than the frame. However - those Saeco frames are collectible. Prob worth looking around on forums/ebay

Well the Deltas would be an easy sell on eBay. Surely €150-200 or more. On the bike they’ll just be pretty much lost. If you have the time and inclination then I’d switch back to the original brakes and sell the Deltas on eBay.

Edit to add... beaten to it !

Yep, sell the brake calipers separately they're like gold dust.

    Are they Record or CdA?

I kept quiet for a few months after posting here about the bike. I figured that better weather (February was extremely wet here in Holland) would be benefit the sale. So, this morning, I posted a fs on a Dutch online market spot. No asking price, just 'make an offer'.

Within minutes, my mailbox started smoking! 23 messages from the website in 17 minutes telling me 'you have a new message'. Now, two hours later, I've sold the bike for nearly 500 euros and the buyer is coming round tomorrow.

At least it give us an idea what Campagnolo Deltas are worth.

Did you remove or include the Deltas?
