Thread: The Gypsy King.... fightnight

    The Gypsy King.... fightnight

I’m not stopping up for the fight but would love to see Fury win.

    Bookies can’t split them.

I think he’s more prepared but Wilder makes Mike Tyson look like a puppy dog imo - scary and a huge hitter

    Opinions - predictions?

I can’t see The Gypsy King taking him out early - or late

But surely we will have a clear winner???

    Team Fury - lets hope

It could be anyone’s but Ive gone for Tyson to win in 11th round and have also backed him to do what he said he would and knock out in the 2nd! Highly unlikely and almost madness but a good fun bet no less.

I would like to see Tyson win but a fights a fight and will be spectacular regardless

I really disagree with that statement but lets see, I'm going Fury round 2

I’ve put a £10 bet at 25/1 for another draw. I put £5 on the last one at 22/1 and did ok. Would love to see Fury win over Wilder though.

I won a LOT of money from Mike Tyson - particularly just famous first round knockouts

This Wilder seems to be wired - more fearce with his mouth and pre fight - would love to have seen him fight Iron Mike

Not sure anyone, least of all Wilder, makes Mike look like a powder puff...and he could actually box too...but I am struggling with tonight.

Gun to my head Fury wins.

Would like to see Fury win. I think he'll out box Wilder but Wilder does have that 1 big power punch, it'll just depend if he can get it off and make contact.

Fury has about a 3 stone advantage...

Fury on points for me.... possibly a draw if Fury vs Wilder 3 rumours are to be believed :D

Tyson Fury is so unpredictable but full respect to him after his comebacks but Wilder is a big hitter so it's hard to call.

I've also heard about a third fight and that it's almost signed and sealed.

Mike Tyson was an absolute animal. I don’t think today’s heavy weights would last a single round, he is another level.

Agreed, Fury & Iron Mike only similar in name - nothing else.

    Wilder will KO Fury

I didn't know until I seen the weigh in but Fury has made a mistake weighing in at over 270.

He will be sluggish and get tired after a few rounds.

Wilder has put on a lot of lean muscle so I expect him to be extremely dangerous.

One has to look at who Tyson fought and who he lost to. Fantastic, impactful boxer in his early years...but he beat no one of real note in that time. Not bums like Wilder. But there were no prime time champion boxers amongst them.

I still think he was a great, loved watching him.

Very close call. I just hope we get another long and gripping fight. My money is on Fury as he’s a better boxer. He is a thinker.... Wilder just bashes and hopes to get a KO punch landed.

Disagree with the Tyson comments - he was an animal in his prime and would give all of our current heavyweights a run for their money.

Question - does anyone know how I get the fight on my Sky box? I just checked and it’s says it’s £25 (!!) but “sorry this is not available on your sky box”.

Do I have to call BT sport and have some muppet try to get me to sign up to an 18 month BT sport package!?

You’d think they’d make it as simple as possible to pay your money.

Problem is when you look at them both you just see Wilder winning all day long if you compare physiques. That said I think Tyson has massively upped his game physically and mentally in the last few months and will win this. The interview with him On ESPN the other day shows he’s totally in the zone and prepared for this.

Tyson had gone up massively in my estimation after watching the documentary on him the last two weeks.

Fury is a beautiful boxer - he has technical gifts that should have meant a period of domination at the top. Sadly his lifestyle prevented that.

I’m going Gypsy King for the win, even if he is the better fighter he’s the perennial underdog. And who doesn’t love an underdog

It's not a battle of physiques. AJ vs. Ruiz.

I can barely believe that fight. No stupid showboating, just graft and skill, Wilder had no answer to it.
