    which red watch?

So, I have an unusual method of selecting watches to collect. I prefer to have watches from as many different manufacturers as I can whilst also having as many different styles of watch as I can. This has led me to the following criteria:
I want a watch with a red dial, but not:
rolex, omega, breitling, cartier, chopard, corum, universal geneve, ulysse nardin, zenith, tudor, sinn, tag, seiko, panerai, oris, muhle glasshutte, iwc, graham, hamilton, franck muller, blancpain, bell & ross, glycine,
    (budget:£3000, new or pre-owned)
    suggestions please.

It would have to be the Linde Werdelin Biformeter for me. Just under £3k will get you this beauty. It's on chrono24 right now.

Nomos do a few red models:

    Club

    Ahoi

I quite like this except for the mounts for the land instrument (which I would never use)

I had never heard of these before, I had a look on their website and the red is a bit too dark for me the one I would buy is the blue fumé !

I think the Nomos Club is the winner, they are pretty similar and I don't see why the Ahoi is worth £700 more. The strap will have to go though!
    thanks

Can’t find picture but grand Seiko did a white with red crystal and hand piece recently

    Tutima or Girard Perregaux
They do a few, or have done

Agree, the Club is much better value. Nomos' watches as a whole are fantastic value - in-house movements, refined design language, decent after-sales service.

Not sure if you've made up your mind or not yet, but I agree that the Nomos Club is a good choice.
If you're still considering, the Archimede Outdoor may scratch the "red watch" itch for half the price of the Nomos:

This Tutima was recently featured on ABTW. Pricey but it does feature a central minute hand counter (modified 7750) which is a nice touch. - https://www.ablogtowatch.com/tutima-...-watch-in-red/

There is a gumtree seller in Herts somewhere selling a vintage Tissot regatta chronograph with the Lemania 1341 movement for a bargain £800. It has a red dial, a rather lovely one.
If I had the spare money I would buy it myself, but unfortunately.....

I do not know the model but saw a zenith with a lovely volcano dial (classic looking dress watch) this afternoon?

    Anyone?

^ This is a good call. But there's also this, and a lot of change:
