    Watch Roll mini review..............

Ive been after a watch roll for ages now but have not been able to find the spec that I really wanted.

Most I’ve come across are a standard leather roll with a single roll inside but this could allow watches to knock together if you are not careful, some come with a slip over ring which separates the watches which is great but you either have to take out the whole roll or undo whatever watch you want to remove, again not ideal.

There must be something better on the market?

After exhaustive searching I came across an Everest watch roll which had everything I was looking, watch separation, individual removable cushions, flat bottomed so case does not roll and looked nice too. I found some reviews over on TURF and although expensive (what in this hobby isn’t) it was just the ticket.

It turns out that these cases are made for Everest by a Swiss company called Carapaz so looked them up and the range they had to offer was brilliant, single, double, triple, quad and even a double banked 8 watch case.

As I was after a 4 watch case in blue leather and they had them in stock an order was placed...............fast forward to this morning when postie delivered my new watch related extravagance.

Outer box is very solid, thick hard cardboard offering excellent protection

Inside we ride the roll wrapped nicely in tissue paper

Unwrapped we find a beautiful blue leather watch roll

Open up the flap, secured with 5 press studs (nice touch) and you are welcomed with a light tan lining. Notice how the flap when closed will fit just inside the edges of the case which gives a nice finish when closed.

OK, lets put some watches in

What I really like about this product is that each cushion sits in the watch roll on its own slide in rail keeping each cushion secure, you will notice in this pic that 2 of my watch are in the display slots. These allow the watches to sit securely in a upright display position, again in their own slots.

With all that said this a very expensive watch roll but in my eyes worth every penny. Very well made, beautiful leather with some well thought out design.

Im seriously considering the 8 watch version to accompany this as my main storage solution 

Good looking bit of kit. Might have to look at their website!
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

It's a beautiful thing indeed but at that price i'd expect it to be! I like the look of the Rapport rolls, did you consider those at all?

How much!! Does it gently fondle your testacles each time you look at it? 'cos at that price, it should.

Does your Planet Ocean gently caress your buttocks while standing in line at the theatre, or does your Pelagos play footsie with you under the table while out to diner?

This hobby can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be.

I actually quite liked the Hyde Park with the removable single case but have not been overly impressed with Rapport quality with past purchases.

Nothing serious but never thought the quality matched the price.
